I. inspection and maintenance

as sewage pumps, AV sewage pumps and WQ sewage pumps series have excellent product performance and stable and reliable operation. Each pump has been strictly inspected before leaving the factory. The permanently lubricated ball bearings and high-quality mechanical seals running in the oil chamber make the sewage pumps have the greatest durability. However, in order to ensure the service life of the sewage pumps, It is recommended that the user unit conduct regular inspection and maintenance

1, regularly check the insulation resistance between phases and phase to ground of the water pump motor, and its value should be greater than 2m, otherwise it should be disassembled for maintenance (drying treatment), and check whether the grounding is firm at the same time

2, the gap between the impeller and the tearing mechanism (base cover plate) is 0.3~0.5mm. After long-term use in the medium, this gap may increase due to wear. At this time, it should be adjusted as follows: disconnect the power supply, loosen the fixing screw, rotate the cover plate at an appropriate angle, that is, the combustion will not produce polluting smoke and dust, and the original gap can be restored

3, after the sewage pump is used for many times, it must be put into clean water to run for several minutes to prevent sediment from leaving in the pump cavity, which will affect the normal use of the sewage pump

4. After the sewage pump is used in the specified medium for half a year, check the sealing condition of the oil chamber, replace 10 # ~ 30 # engine oil, and replace the mechanical seal if necessary. The sewage pump used in bad working conditions should be overhauled frequently The oil change method is as follows: place the pump well, make the plug of the oil chamber (located at the inner side of the water outlet) face down, drain the lubricating oil, then clean the oil chamber with washing oil, refill an appropriate amount of oil (70% - 80%), replace a new O-ring and tighten the plug If water (milky emulsion) is found in the waste oil, clean the oil chamber and refill the oil according to the regulations. It must be rechecked after three weeks of use. If the lubricating oil is found to become emulsion again, check the mechanical seal and replace it if necessary (contact our maintenance department). If there are replacement conditions on site, air tightness test (air pressure is 0.5kg/cm2) should be carried out after replacing the seal

5, if the sewage pump fails, the cause cannot be determined, and the troubleshooting method provided later still cannot be solved, please do not take temporary and casual measures, let alone dismantle and repair without permission. Please contact our maintenance department, and we will solve the problem for you with the fastest and best service

II. Causes and troubleshooting of sewage pump failure
